You’re Going Where?
We are hanging in there with all of life’s business. Victoria has volleyball practices on Monday and Tuesday nights. Emma has physical therapy on Wednesdays and Fridays after school. Asher had his dental appointment this morning and has a beautiful new smile. They put tooth colored caps over his two front teeth, which she filled the cavities first and then covered the brown staining he had. He loved showing everyone his teeth this afternoon. He was such a good patient. They couldn’t believe how well he did for only being 3 1/2. David has off work on Monday and the kids are off for shcool. So, we are headed to the ranch on Friday evening. The girls are each bringing a friend. Things sound pretty well planned, right? IT was until David called me at lunch and told me he is going to Haiti tomorrow. He and our two lead pastors from church are on a plane right now to Florida, and then they will go to Port Au Prince tomorrow morning. They are going there to meet with the director of Misson Of Hope. This is the main non-profit organization that has been put in the position of filtering alot of the effort relief. The problem is that there are so many organizations that are sending things and people that want to help. But, there is not a plan to organize all of the non-government help. They will spend the next days meeting with key leaders of different organizations to try and get some infrastructure set up. David is very ecxited and nervous at the same time. He has never been to an aftermath of a major natural disaster before. We both know that this experience will be life-changing for him. I will try to keep you posted on his adventure. We look forward to seeing how God will use this experice later on.
